Dear Quadra Voters

We do not know when a federal election will be called, but with minority government it may be soon and we must be ready.   Vancouver Quadra has been represented by a Liberal MP for far too long – Quadra needs a strong voice in Conservative good government!

I have lived and worked in this riding all my life – like me, my husband and children were brought up here and went to school here. My interests are your interests:

• Keeping a steadfast hand on the economy – no reckless new programs; conserving our resources so we have money to do the things that need to be done.

• Criminal justice reform – serious consequences for serious crime.

• Government leadership that is predictable, focused and principled.

I have had a 30-year career in commercial law and and as a professor at the Sauder School of Business at U.B.C. – and now feel I have a duty to offer that experience to government. The job of a Member of Parliament is to represent her constituents, to help them, to take their concerns and issues to Ottawa. I know this riding well, and believe I will represent you well.

BUT MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL…

Get out and vote! And encourage your friends and family to vote! The results of the 2008 election prove that the Conservatives can win Vancouver Quadra – but Conservatives have to get out and vote! There is every opportunity to vote – including in the advance polls if you are away for Election Day. We’ll be providing detailed information on your voting options when the election is called.

Politics is about making choices – for our futures and the futures of our children and grandchildren. I believe that a Conservative government is the right choice. Let’s work together to make that happen.
